K&C Future releases - Your ideas (1 Viewer)

Hello Everyone,

I would really like K&C to produce a few Napoleonic 90mm figures in the future. The same paint quality they are using is fine. I'd like to have a 90mm Napoleon or Murat. Maybe even regiment specific pieces. I once floated this idea by Andy through email. At the time, I thought increasing the paint quality to that of one of the St Petersburg studios finer pieces would be necessary with the increase in scale, but on second thought, that wouldn't have to be the case. Andy did reply he wanted to stay with the quality painting he currently was pursuing. He didn't want to get into the speciality market. I think producing a couple different larger scale figures a year would be great myself for K&C. That would be my wish list for future K&C releases.

How about anyone else? How about some ships?! What are us poor sailor types to do?

Going to be a busy day. I am off to prison, church and then Harley riding this afternoon. Later guys.

In the past, Andy did two 90mm castings, one, painted with three different color golf outfits (red, green and blue), was the "St. Andrew's" Golfer figure. Photos of all three versions of this golfer are posted in the Glossy Traditional K&C thread. The other, an oversized Hong Kong Policeman with a radio which I have never seen, was available painted and unpainted.

I don't think he's interested in the modern wars, believing that companies like Force of Valor and Figarti do a very good job at it.

How about a B25 Mitchell or B17 Flying Fortress WARBIRD?

Okay, that's out of leftfield and it's NOT going to happen. Heck it would take up my over entire office space,

Probably, going to be some ore armor. I bet it's going to be a Marder II or Marder III with crew. Maybe even a SL edition.

Just a guess. Heck Andy's is the only one producing German Self Propelled Guns (SPG) in the market place currently and I bet he corners the market before anyone else does.

Why not a toy soldier of yourself??

I think it would be a pretty unique marketing ploy that KC could consider- make some generic molds of army guys- say WW2 tankers, airborne, pilots, etc. Make them mail order where you could send in a picture of yourself and they would paint your face ( or a reasonable facsimile of it) on the soldier- add unit crests, jump wings, RANGER, SF tabs, etc, etc.

Perhaps go 72 or 90mm so that more detail can be provided. I think they would make a wonderful gift for friends, family, favorite vets, etc. It would be a one of a kind unique limited edition collectible.

He did them in the past, I wouldn't be totally shocked to see a B17 or B25 in K&C's future.

Who knows? He already did that Private Neilson figure from the Repple Depple set. Anything is possible.

I'd also like to see a 2 man .30 cal team that is moving the weapon- have one guy carrying the weapon and the other with the mount.Maybe have them running or range walking- like they just got done laying down some fire and are moving the weapon to another area.
