Can anyone tell me which store in Gettysburg has the best selection of K&C WW2 items?

The Antique Center on Baltimore Street. It has a huge selection of KC, John Jenkins, Britains etc. The other two shops in town are much smaller, but good guys to deal with.

We've turned someone else to the dark side!:D

Brad you're right. I've always been a WW2 history buff but as far as toy soldiers I thought they'd be kind of dull, all the greens and grays. But I picked up a set of 82nd Airborne at a WW2 show in Reading and ordered a couple FOB figures from Treefrog. I must say my collecting has taken a huge turn.

Oh and Combat thanks for the info.

JR,

I thought you lived in the Allentown area (generally). Wouldn't Mike Rosso at Stockade in Stroudsberg be closer for you?

Brad yes I'll check out Stockade Miniatues eventually. We're taking the kids to Gettysburg for a couple days this week and I know there's a few toy soldiers stores there.

I went to Gettysburg again a few weeks ago. I bought my first toy soldiers at at Greystone's American History Bookstore there years ago, but the best toy soldier shops I have visited there are Charlie Tarbox's Toy Soldiers and Gettysburg Miniature Toy Soldiers. The great thing is they are all on the same street - Steinwehr - less than 10 minutes walk between all three. I had never been to Tarbox before this previous trip. I just got into WWII and was exclusively into Civil War until a few months ago. Tarbox has nice displays and makes for more fun shopping. As far as selection, I think it is worth a trip to both Tarbox and Miniature Toy Soldiers. You might as well visit the American History Store too while you are at it, but you will find much more selection and WWII at the two toy soldier specialist shops. There is an antique mall in town with figures too, but I haven't been there in a while (I live in NC).
