This is a question for our TF comrades in London ... what did the "good chap" from K&C talk about ? Any hints, about what's coming .. Or Not coming down the road in 2010. Any & all grasp at straws appreciated. :D

Federal cavalry for the ACW ?

Marmelukes / Cossacks & British cavalry for NAPs ?

... another 88mm or a bofor for the RAFseries :)

Andy answered a range of questions from interchangeable heads to what he thinks will be highlights of 2010.He said that as next year is the 70th Anniversay of the Battle of Britain, that range will be a definite highlight. He couldn't give details away but said there will be Brits,US and German releases in the D Day range. He also said that the FOB range is only being rested and he will return to it.

Did anyone ask Andy, about the possibility of producing some Dead,Dying and some more injured soldiers,so we can create more realistic dioramas, with the K&C product range. As things stand, creating dioramas of conflicting sides is really difficult, since no dead or kill zone can be created with any real chance of realism NB not gore, the cut and thrust of battle will leave dead and injured on the field of battle.I have been told this was attempted before with little success but there are more diorama building materials available now than before and it may be time to re introduce it as its own limited range as "Casualties Of War" aimed at the diorama, vinette builders in the hobby,a new range for a new age of toy soldiers.

I do agree with this,I find dead and wounded figures really do add to a diorama.I think Andy said sometime back that they do have a role to play and they would continue to appear now and again.

Whilst we got good images from Rob and Jeff and others it would appear that we missed out on the "Steve Chong Report" on the Andy talk. Can be hard as he does sometimes give specific mentions and other times talks in general terms (ie. he mentioned Napoleon and French artillery coming whilst down under in July although I did not include that in my summary of what he said).
The important thing to note is that the Light Horse series will become bigger than WWII :D:D:D:D Rommel on a Camel charging with Lawrence :D:D::D:D
I agree with dead and wounded and been a while since had any WWII Germans like that. Has been done with Medieval, WWI and Naps and the following dead / wounded would be useful
an Imperial Guard one
an Afrika Korps
Desert Rat
AWI Dead Redcoat and to be fair a dead American.
Confederate and Union
Regards
Brett
