Thanks again for all the comments re this section of our site. we will endevour to make sure we get the system up and running.

Myself and the IT guy are working on it as we speak (9pm GMT) i am evening missing my favourite series on TV at the moment ROME you guys when you get it in the states make sure you watch it awesome.

should have server back up with in the hour.:D
Apart from the one guy who got in quick and only bid is showing (you know who you are!!) there have been 32 attempted bids so once we have the server up i am sure th ebids will move!

They've already seen Rome in the states Tony. We are a bit behind as usual. To rub salt into the wound the BBC edited the first 3 US episodes into 2 episodes here, completely missing out 50 minutes worth of story.

You missed a good one tonight though. That Cleopatra. Wow.

Doh!!

At the office still (the Neville's roost!) and mum has said yes very rude!! Cleopatra that was. Would have been to embarresed to watch it with mum anyhow. And no i dont still live here!!!!

You wait until you see the dancing girls that are coming out by K&C!!!!!! they are based on somebody i know!! Mum reckons Jordon! blimey they did not need weapons with these girls around they would have your eye out!!

any how LIVEBID all up and running and already a couple of bids on.

The bid notifications have been speeded up for when the items are nearing the end of the auction so you should see a difference in the last few minutes with the bidding.

Have fun.

We noticed the dancing girls were very "modern" since, although the Egyptian scientists were very advanced for their time, they had not yet thought up silicone implants. These girls do not occur in nature!

Agree Shannon

and they also must have invented the Bikini wax in Roman time by the series on the BBC! made my wife laugh (she owns her own beauty salon)

Shannon much appreciate all your help.

regards

tony:)

Hello Tony. A suggestion for the live bid site and maybe someone has already talked about this or maybe its already on the site but I just don't see it. Is there anyway a currency converter could be added to the Live Bid site?
Just a thought.....

Tony, thanks alot for the help registering. That was really thoughtful. Believe me, the first time something I need comes up, I'll be bidding. I like the currency convertor idea as well, if its do-able.

All items on the current livbid have reached reserve so its all up for grabs now!

Guys

the nevs have posted yet again another bunch of interesting items on their LIVEBID. i missed the other night but agin with Christmas and kids their needs come first!!!!!:-

Have a great Christmas and see you all in the newyear:D

Nothing there yet to tickle my fancy. Like to see some real early stuff. Don't know if they have them though. Still hoping they'll find a warbird or two ;)

Brad,

First, while you will be receiving a formal thank you note from my wife and I, let me thank you for the very thoughtful and beautiful gift for my son. The silver rattle is really special, and we appreciate your generosity and friendship very much. That being said, on to K&C subjects.

When I first started purchasing warbirds from the Nevilles in 2001 (I bought the Junkers JU52 for 450 Pounds, when that was about $750), Mike and Sue told me that they had a customer over the years (I think he was retired RAF) who bought at least one of every warbird K&C produced. This individual, as far as I know, has the largest collection of K&C Warbirds in the world, at least twice as big as mine (there were 101 different planes produced, and I have 48). When this gentleman decides to sell off his collection (and I hope he or his family does so through the Nevilles) we better all hope we have a lot of cash on hand, because its going to be quite a big battle on Livebid!

Happy Holidays!

Louis

Louis,

It was our pleasure to get that for Alec. I'm sure he'll get much enjoyment shaking it and bothering his parents. Regarding the planes, I'll just settle for your doubles:D
