Was this just a 'toe in the water' venture and have we definitely seen the last of it?

Never to be seen again (IMHO) 🤔

Well, that would be my preference, but ..... :rolleyes2:

I understand the (financial) consideration of having collector levels of figures; similar to Russian Niena Levels 1 - 5 and the experiment of First Legion Mass Battle Civil War sets, for example.

Personally, I see don't see the need to have that differentiation since (K&C) Andy's sets are already quite price conscience and the quality is always superior.

But that is just my 14 Cents worth (Inflation!)

That is what I can't get my head around really. Although I don't own the new Romans, I have handled them and think the quality of the painting is very good. However, if they were ever painted under the 'P' banner, what would be so different?

I never understood it at the time and with the passing of time I still don't understand what it's purpose was and whether the quality really was that far removed from other K&C products anyway.

I cannot really see the difference in the 'P' and the non 'P' figures, especially now as the quality of K & C figures have moved even higher to become better figures. William Britains also tried it with their 'Museum' range which they charged more money for each figure, but these figures, to me, looked no different and I stopped buying them when I stopped collecting the majority of Britains as the quality was not great, process just rocketed and the delivery times were [and still are] poor.

The new Romans from K & C are excellent and the new Battle of the Bulge figures are outstanding. I have also started to collect The Real West series, which are almost too good and distinctive, so distinctive it is difficult to use the same figure multiple times in a diorama.
