Hey everyone,
A while back a number of you were kind enough to help me identify a Kimg and Country scenic piece I had bought.
It turns out to be a rare piece, The Defense Work Trench (DWT - there's no SP # for it to my knowledge), designed for the Spanish Defenders against the Rough Riders, and also used in Stalingrad displays, I believe. It would work well for WWI, WWII...pretty much any era in which any kind of trenches were used.
Here's the thread with pictures: http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19978
(I can repost them here upon request).
I bought it new, and only took it out to inspect and photograph it. It's in perfect condition, and comes with the original box (although the box is a cardboard one, evidently nothing fancy for this release).
I planned to use it for a WWI diorama but it just doesn't suit my needs. I would have needed two to do what I wanted, and even then it probably wouldn't have fit on the shelf.
Before I put it up on e-bay, I thought I would listen to some reasonable offers for it from fellow Treefroggers. I'd rather the piece go to someone who will truly enjoy it, even if that means a little less money. Especially since everyone was so helpful in identifying it.
What's reasonable? I overpaid for the piece, and I realize I will probably have to lose some money on the sale - I'm just hoping it's not too much. It's taking up space, and I'd rather use that space and $ on sets I'm more interested in.
But if you think you have a fair offer you can make, by all means make it.
The best way to contact me is directly at marksable@aol.com, which I check more than my PM box (although I do check that).
Thanks for you time,
Mark
