Last week on a business trip to Hong Kong I was fortunate to visit the K & C retail outlet, which is located in a shopping arcade below the Conrad Hotel in the city center. They have absolutely stunning displays which combine large numbers of figures with buildings. There was one display in particular, of Napoleon's Old Guard, featuring massed grenadiers, that was particularly powerful. They also make clever use of the accessories from different periods, such as the workers' scaffold from the Egyptian series which has a variety of uses in other periods. They had a significant number of the new special edition Napoleonic cavalry figures, which look even better in the round than in the pictures. I bought some of these figures and had them shipped back to the States, and they were here undamaged when I returned. The lady running the store was very patient and helpful and did not mind taking figures out of the glass cases for closer inspection. Anybody who has the opportunity should not pass up a visit to this shop!

I think Wellington just booked his flight to Hong Kong:D

I would but that would hurt the funds for collecting......:)
