Hi Aproxi,

You have some very interesting items for sale. In the past, AK19, AK20, AK25, AK29(SL), DD038, DD039, DD050, EA007 (a few years ago, the Mathilda went for 430,00$ on eBay), WS043, WS070(SL) and XM005-01 did very well on the secondary market. Beware of some collectors who will make you low offers for your pieces and will resell them on eBay at high prices. If you have any doubt about the value of one item, ask Jazzeum.

Roy

I don't think a beware is really warrented, as you mentioned jazzeum

maintains a price list as do I, both of us are happy to advise other collectors

about the current value of items.

Remember the value is determined by a meeting of the minds between a

buyer and seller. Often factors such as price originally paid, how fast money is

needed, how items are to be sold, one at a time or entire collection, and what

money is going to be used for influence price.

I have found Forum members to be quite helpful and fair especially in their

dealings with each other.

John,

I don't want to start a ferocious debate on that question but I have seen some unfair (or attempts of unfair) deals in the past, right here, between members. I will not give names but trust me on that.

Regards,
Roy

Roy:

Well I'm sure it happens, but everyone should know both jazzeum and I

maintain lists of current prices of WWII items, and would be happy to provide

current information to any member that asked.

I don't believe I have ever myself bought an item from the Forum, with the

exception of Treefrog listings, and another Dealer that I have done business

with for years.

John,

Since it was only Aproxi's third post (despite the fact that he's a member since 2006), maybe (I don't know if he's a regular visitor or not) he wasn't aware of your list or Brad's one. I tried to help, only that. Now, I didn't want to exclude you by telling Aproxi to contact Jazzeum. I will correct it, right now: Aproxi, if you have any doubt, ask Jazzeum or NJJA.

I have nothing to add :)
