I just recieved my wooden desert Stuka today, that I won from a private seller on ebay. Since the photo attachments are down, I cannot show it, but it is painted in the Red Snakehead camo that looks like the one in Louis' collection thread. It is marked T6 as its number, which is different from Louis' T8.....Just how many varients were made and what possible differences might there be ,for that run? It is well made and has an excellent paint job...It also seems a little darker than the color yellow on Louis's plane also...Michael

There were a lot of varients on the older planes, in markings and in color. When you can post a photo I will give you my opinion. Provenance helps - where did the e-bay seller say he got the plane? Did it come with one of the old glossy pilot figures? Take a look at Bill Sager's website under K&C brochures, there is a photo of the Snake Stuka on one of the 1993 or 1994 flyers. It also might help.

Was a K/C mark on the plane or stand.....first off , I did not pay any real money for this...I thought the camo and snake insigna looked familiar...Michael

K&C didn't mark their warbirds (or stands before the new strictly limited planes). The biggest tip off is the gear being down, but the Stuka did not have retractable gear, so that's no help. Its a matter of feel - I have seen enough of these planes to have a pretty good idea whether they are made by the various K&C factories.

Dear Louis, attached are pictures of my 1/32 Stuka........if you need other angles, let me know...still waitng on the seller about where he got it....I love this plane and am glad I got it..Michael

Hi Michael-

Congratulations for your acquisition. A real great item.

The stuka was a really sinister looking plane. And that siren must have scared the hell out of a lot people. Makes for a great warbird model though.

We can both lie and say we have K/C Warbirds. ;)

It does rather look like its motion models, but its a great plane just the same. Enjoy it!

Hey guys - nice Warbirds!

Would you take...say....$700 for one of them?

:)

Your a preacher, if you say they are Warbirds, they must be , kinda like water into wine........whos going to argue with a preacher?:DMichael

I don't thik that this plane was a quality one. I think that in the begginnign of the War quality pilotes was the key of german sucess. 10 times better was the Messerschmitt Bf 109

CHEERS:)

Michael,

Nice pickup. I have two Motion Models, a Desert Hawker and a Nightfighter, and like them very much, particularly the Hawker, and they make a product very comparable to the old War Birds. Congrats once again.
