Still a work in progress. Got more on the way in the next release. Even though I love my Naps, this has become my favorite range.

It's my favourite as well MK. Well, let's say EQUAL favourite along with SOHK/IC, but I like both ranges for different reasons.
I have to say that I'm glad it's 6 months between Crimean releases. Gives it that touch of "exclusiveness" and allows us a chance to save all our pennies for multiples.
Very nice display BTW.

Cheers

Very nice display....and excellent range....if only I was rich.....

Very nice display. Every time I see these figures set up I want to jump into the range. They really look well executed.

Thanks guys for your comments. In the coming month, I will improve it with the additions I have in mind. Then I'll post the improved pictures when I get it ready.

If your considering this range, let me encourage you to buy a piece or two and view the quality yourself. It is an awesome range.

I thought I'd left a post earlier today, but must not have submitted it. Was just going to echo the others comments about your nice looking display. The more I see these guys, the more inclined I'm feeling to get them...at least the Lancers. Maybe I'll get 1 or 2 and see what happens next. Thanks again for the photos.

Are these 54mm or 60mm and why the high price limited pieces higher quality whats driving the higher price?

The Crimean range is commissioned by K&C UK (a different entity from K&C). That's why I cannot buy them from the K&C shop in Hong Kong. They are manufactured in Shenzhen then shipped to the UK. I then order them from K&C UK who ship them back to my company's office in Shenzhen, where I pick them up as I transit Hong Kong on my way home to Dalian every 8 weeks or so. Complicated innit..??
Have a look at the K&C UK website Joel and check the prices of other K&C ranges - they are all approximately 1.5 times (could be more, I haven't checked lately) the US price. This isn't K&C UK's fault; it's due to the exchange rate. The prices you are seeing in the States for the Crimean Range is after the £ is converted to $. Actually it's not. UK collectors also pay VAT on top of the prices you're seeing.
I'm lucky in the sense that I don't pay VAT and I get a K&C UK collectors club discount. In addition, and I'm not going to reveal how it's done here, but I don't pay import duty in China either. I have been charged up to an eye-watering 50% of the total value of the package contents when importing TS orders into certain country's.:mad: Money that could have been put to better use by obtaining more TS sets.
Bit of an eye-opener as to what other collectors have to pay and put up with in the pursuit of our wonderful hobby, huh..??
Welcome to the Big Wide World that exists outside the States Joel.

Impressive set so far, look forward to seeing your additions. I think you are doing a great job with your "encouragement".;)

Along with MK, I also would encourage anyone who's considering getting into this range to go right ahead. If you do a search though this forum I don't think you'll find any negative comments whatsoever, other than the relatively high cost of the figures in the US, which is perfectly understandable until you understand the factors highlighted in my previous post.

Try buying in Canada we pay US prices then we pay 15% tax and then shipping....great fun...

I would like to echo what Harry and MK have said. This is a great series. However don't rush off to buy it just yet. I want to build up my own half decent TRL first. I am not sure if there is going to be much left after Harry the Head descends on Durham like a Border Reiver.
Regards
Damian
P It really is a great series and I am not getting paid to say that
Well done to the Nevilles

Damian dear chap, Harry The Head is my Sunday-Going-To-Church name, or Henri La Tete as our French friends would have it.
On other days its; HarrytheHeid which rhymes with DEID - which is what you'll be if you leak my reiving plans again....!!!!

:D:D....Hmmmm......:D:D:D;)
Only kiddin'

Joel,

To add to what Harry said, these are not K & C figures. K & C UK pay K & C for everything: from the design work to sculpting to manufacture to packaging you name it. It's no different than if a company decides it wants to have a product made; it has to pay the manufacturer for everything. That's part of why it's a little more. If you'll do a search for Tony's posts, you should be able to find a better explanation of what I've just noted above. However, it's definitely worth it: some of the best figures you'll ever see or have in your collection. If interested, why not buy a couple and see for yourself.

I am slipping closer to getting in this range.....

Oh desire..... will thou leave thee wallet alone
