I collect this range and have all of them at this time. Dont know how popular it is to others but Im hoping to see some more this year. So I guess Im posting this just to see how many other collectors collect this series.

I collect only the Dragoons, I like the uniform, I want more Dragoons dismounted action, the Indians are very nice but I have other priorities: the Union Cavalry, WWI German, Roman, my credit card is limited::eek::(

Dear "Jagdpanther":
Ah, "The Real West" series by K&C was a "sore" subject for me between about 2007 & 2009. I was waiting and waiting for K&C to add to their old 1998 "The West" series of the 1876 US 7th Cavalry Vs Indians of Custer's last stand fame. After what I thought were assorted promises to add to "The West" series K&C finally said that in March 2009 they will be adding to "this series". Except, that in fact it was not to "The West" series of 1876 period of US Old West era, but rather circa 1848 Old West history of the 2nd US Army Dragoons Vs southern plans Indians. I finally decided to downsize the area of my Custer's Last Stand diorama of K&C sets to allow for the fact that there will not be anymore circa 1876 7th US Cavalry or related Indians to fill up the space I had allocated recently. However, I finally broke down and did buy K&C's TRW 06, 07, 016 & 018 Indians to add to the revised smaller diorama figuring that they blend in well enough with the 1998 sets of Indians. Obviously, the 1840's US Army 2nd Dragoons would not match up at all with the 1876 7th Cavalry figures.
Happy collecting as Andy Neilson always says! "Iron Brigade"

I also only collect the Dragoons. Excellent sets!
Donnie

I'm not going on anything but a hunch, but I believe if we are to see more stuff from this series (and I believe we will) they will probably be in the next dispatches. I wasn't so sure about this series at first, as it seemed like it would be very limited and didn't have alot of possibilities for expansion, but I have to admit the dragoons look very cool and if I had an unlimited supply of money I would probably buy one or two.

This is a very well done range (I have a couple of the figures). However, I'm guessing that we may only seen one release this year. If you're not concerned about historic realism, maybe you could fit the Custer figure from the ACW series in here.

New released in June?^&confuse
