Hi guys, I'm working on a large Normandy field battle scene right now and I'm wondering if I used some of my older forces of valor shermans to go into the scene as destroyed tanks?? I know I may have to "smash" a few to give it a look of realism but you gotta do what you gotta do, I'm just worried about the size difference, any ideas??...Sammy

Sammy,
Not sure how the FOV tanks match up scalewise to K & C, they will be smaller, not sure how much smaller. I really don't think it will be that big of a deal especially where you'll be using them as knocked out tanks.

Just remember when it comes to dioramas, the only critic you need worry about is you and as long as you like how it looks, that is all that matters...............

Sammy, go for it. The FOV Sherman is smaller than the KC Shermans but not to the point were you couldn't use them as destroyed examples. You cannot use the figures from both together, but as background, the vehicles can work. I have a FOV Sherman in a display (in back) with 2 KC Shermans and the size difference is noticible but not overwhelming. But, as I said earlier, FOV figures are much too small to work with KC. I typically pose my FOV modern armor with the modern troops. Scalewise they are off and it is more apparent with the monster armor vehicles we use today than I think it may be with WW2 AFVs- sans KTs and such.

When photographing, you can pose the FOV AFVs closer and put the KC figures further back and that can help create an optical illusion to scale them a bit better.

Until KC makes modern armor, I have no problem posing FOV with KC.
