I just purchased the recently retired King & Country World War II AK034 VF (Vichy French Camel Corps) Officer with Compass. He comes with his resting camel. I bought it to get the camel for the crusades diorama I am building. The French officer is very nice, but I can't use him. If anyone is interesting in acquiring this really nice, brand new, pristine figure, please make an offer.

Thanks, George

Hi Ron,

I'm apparently not the first Medieval collector with that idea. The camel is pretty neat, isn't it. Did anyone ever buy your officer? Perhaps I should put in on ebay. I plan to put other items, such as my extra Ancient City Tower, on ebay next week. If no one on this forum is interested in the French officer, I'll add it to the list. Things always sell on ebay.

MY French guy did sell on Ebay - for around $29.00 buck - I think. There was interest in him with a couple of bidders.

I love that Camel - he looks great and I have him displayed now with my AK diorama that I updated & changed over the holidays !

I probally will do it again sometime later this year - because I doubt that Andy will make another single camel again. And that camel looks great with the Crusader figures too !

Regards, Ron

Hey we should try to get together in FEB - I will be in Ft. Lauderdale for the AUSA Military Show !

Sounds interesting, Ron,

Yeah, let's try to get together when you're here. February is a very busy month for me. I'll be exhibiting in art shows every weekend, except the last one and will frequently be traveling on Fridays and Mondays, but the rest of the weekdays should work. What will your schedule be? My wife, Betsy, and I would like to have you over one evening for a Barbeque, if that sounds good and you can find time in your schedule. I'd like to show you the large Crusades diorama I'm building. I should have the board up and be working on the terrain by then. Finally, someone in my own home, who will truly appreciate my medieval collection and diorama, other than my mother.

George
