I need help identifying these two early matte K&C figures. I’ve never seen any others before. They measure 2-1/4" tall, and the bases are marked HF4 and HF5.

Additionally, they have 'King and Country' inscribed in script, though part of the marking is covered with white paint.

Any insights would be appreciated!

Yes, Al. Those are K&C Highland Fling Dancers from around 1998 or 1999. They are in the same flyer with the Highland Sergeant carrying a Christmas pudding, if I remember correctly. I know I have the flyer that depicts them in my K&C archive, but it would take a real effort to dig it out and set you a copy,

Thank you, Louis.

I may have the flyer Louis. Narrowing the date helps. I will check and if so forward it to Alex.

I went through my library of brochures and leaflets and although I have almost every one from the beginning until about 2015, I couldn’t locate these figures.

I guess I am not as senile as I sometimes think. Attached are photos of the Christmas Catalogue with the Highland Fling Dancers and the Sergeant with the Christmas Pudding (the back cover is a The West diorama display), as well as a photo of my version of the set (I didn't pull the highland piper out of the band where I have him displayed):

Thank you, Louis. You are the best!

It’s always nice to see a ‘blast from your past’… And as a reminder of just how long and enjoyable the journey has been from those days until now. Thanks Louis for the many happy memories of times gone by and the multitude of friends we made and the fun we all had.
All the best,
Andy.

I still have all of your early production on display, primarily on Gordon's and your dioramas. It's crowded in by real militaria (including 50 full and partial WWI Uniforms), Soldier Dolls and real period guns, swords and bayonets, but I have never boxed up or stored a single K&C item.
