A holdup (Bailup) in Victoria (Aust) in the mid 1850's........all figs done in sculprey except rocks which are made from icing sugar...I have model the lot from scratch,,,incl the cobb and co coach.....hope this pic makes it.....having props sorting out this site.....thank s Isandlwana and Ozdigger.....hope you get emails...TomB

Larger pic....may have cottoned on at last on how to add add attch...( hope I remember )....rocks done with icing sugar...( too expensive to make large objects from sculprey ).....figs modeled in sculprey...incul cobb and coy coach..........have done gangsters hijacking a bootleging truck.... useing same scenary ,,,will post one day.......I model this stuff as a hobby...keeps my fingers from stiffening up......bit long in the tooth these days.....cheers TomB

They used to show an Australian frontier series here in the US 30 plus years ago about a troop of rural police in the 1850s-60s. Nice diorama! It reminds me of the show.

Hi Scott......The series was called "Rush" from memory....had a lot to do with gold mining..starred John Walters.....one of the early Aust produced TV shows...still a lot better than the crap they make today......TomB.....PS...wish it was still on..I could do with ref's to that period......they also produced a show called "Cobb and Coy " starring an American actor....???? Phelp...I think....the guy who was head puncho in "Missiom Impossible" and lots of other US..TV shows of that period.
