Hi There!
As promised, images of another diorama that is Chicago bound! This 11"x28" Shelf Diorama is a display showing how the soft ground off road was torn up by the passage of Tigers to the front. Our two images are for scale reference, the first one showing some of the 1st Gear/ W.Britain German Heer Infantry and the second picture is with K&C Waffen SS. Figures are not included. Our resilient "Wild Grass" disguises the bases of the figures, and springs back once the figures are moved.
All the Best,
Ken Osen

Re: Ken Osen's H&A: Tigers to the Front! Scenic Diorama

Hello Again!
Here are the last two images of Tigers to the Front. For reference purposes we have shown a 21st Century Toys TigerII right out of the box and into the tracks. We modeled this to look like several vehicles have followed one another to the front. As a result we were able to make the tracks a little wider to accommodate other manufacturers scales and models.
The second image is a close up of the muddy tracks. Though it looks wet and muddy, it isn't! Please stop by and see us in room 5215.
Thanks!
All the Best,
Ken Osen

Can I put my Honour Bound Gold Edition Tiger on that diorama (I will be picking it up at the show)? Another clear winner from your studio!!:cool::cool:

Hi Ken,

Wow I love seeing some realistic looking Tank Tracks in a field! Having run through some fields in a tank I really like the look of this display. Thanks for sharing.

All the best

Dave

I agree Dave, they really tear up the soil! I've been fortunate enough to operate cross country in a fully restored Stuart, a Hetzer and a M3 Halftrack. I have to say riding the rear deck of the Hetzer with a bunch of other guys cross country is a bit hair-raising- but so cool! In what kind of vehicle did you tear up the ground?
See you at the show,
Ken

Hi Ken,

I have been in the following vehicles tearing things up: M-60A3, M-113, M-577, M-88 (recovery vehicle) M-2 & 3 Bradley, But my favorite vehicle to run around in is the M-1 and M-1 IP and M-1A1 Abrams Tanks. I also have be aboard an M109 Howitzer the FISTV and an M-113 Vulcan.

I havent managed to get on a moving Hetzer or Sherman but I have climbed into a M-4A3E8 and the M2 Stuart and the good old Halftrack the 11th ACR had for VIPs to play with. I also have been in a Leo-1 and a Sparpanzer, while I was overseas. Still have yet to get into a running Soviet Bloc Vehicle would like to someday.

All the best

Dave

Thank you all for your compliments, We really hoped you would like some of the new work we have been doing.
Dave I am flattered that anyone with as much experience with armor as you liked our little shelf diorama. Please stop to see us at the W. Britains room, or right down the hall at our room (Room 5215). We will be posting just a few more images tonight before we pack up for Chicago.
See you there!

PS
For those of you that might be interested in owning something like we have posted images of but cannot make the show, please feel free to send us a private message. We will be back in the shop on October 1st.
All the best,
Ken
