Members of a French Foreign Legion patrol make their way through the Sahara on their way to a desert outpost.

When I was a boy in the 1950s I was a fan of the TV series Captain Gallant of the Foreign Legion (1955-57), starring Buster Crabbe and his son Cullen. (see below) I wrote to the French Foreign Legion at that time and got a letter back in French and a copy of their magazine Kepi Blanc (see below), both of which I still have. I remember also having a Captain Gallant cap in red and black with the FFL insignia on the front that I got as a premium from one of the program's sponsors. So I just had to pick up these Beau Geste Legionnaire's.
