I have just come across this figure on what I take to be a Russian website.main b.jpg
Has anyone purchased the figure? If so, could you please advise (1) the overall cost, (2) whether you were pleased with the finished figure, and (3) what other maker's figures it best fit in with.
If this has already been covered in a previous thread I apologise and would be grateful to be directed there.
Thanks.
Bill

Looks home made. Doesn't look like it was made by a studio. at least from the photo.

I have found him ....

He's a British Sergeant from the 95th Rifles Regt.

The maker is Ratnik, a Russian maker, and shown on their website : http://en.ratnik.biz/catalog/?action=show&id=538

You can buy the figure as either casting, or painted, and I think it's also being sold on some Russian EBay site.

A local collector here has bought quite a few of the figures, and I have painted many for him and have a few in my own collection, like this set Death of General La Salle at Wagram 1809

I can say that the standard of the sculpting and casting is quite good, and they are relatively cheap, and my freind says the only problem with the postage is that it can take a few weeks, but they all arrive safely.

Hope that helps,
John
