Caught this one last night, Jeremy Renner, one of my favorite actors, plays the lead.

I thought it was brilliant, a true story and a real eye opener; it connects a lot of dots regarding the tidal wave flow of blow into this country in the 80's on Reagan's watch...................it all makes sense to me now.

The post script to the movie was very sad as well, stick around for the credits as you'll need to, it was infuriating.

My wife and I really enjoyed it as well. Very underrated.

Mike,
You won't regret it; a real eye opener...................

I'm recording it right now...

thanks for the recommendation...

Sunday is a the heaviest night of the week on TV for me...

Ray Donovan...
The Brink...
Ballers...

and football hasn't even started yet...

Started watching the HBO 6 pm showing but had to break for dinner. Will rewatch it this week. What I saw was very well done, written. -- Al

George...

good watch...

what a great cast of characters...

seemed like everybody in Hollywood had a role in this...

just goes to show you...

you can't beat the Government...

didn't realize it was a true story til the end...

here's a little add on to alleged suicide...

apparently Gary Webb shot himself twice...yes twice...^&grin...in the head...

http://priceofliberty.tumblr.com/post/122716077043/oswaldofguadalupe-gary-webb-was-shot-twice-in

the key word there is twice...

the article...with picture...refers to it as...

"The Old Double Tapped Suicide Trick"...

have you ever heard of a suicide where the guy shot himself TWICE in the head?

again...

you can't beat the Government...

He never worked as a reporter again, which is really sad..................the epilogue said they found him in his apartment; so was he divorced as well?

Really sad; and yes, don't cross the government.............

Finished watching this. Sad and frustrating. Great cast, well written. Considering what he got into and the people he was dealing with it's a wonder he got as far as he did. -- Al
