Hi Guys,

As I’ve written oft times before a good diorama / display setting can be used for all kinds of different scenes and scenarios.

Our little winter road now has some new characters playing out a different scene.

A squad of GIs, somewhere on a road leading to Bastogne see, what looks like, a US tank destroyer heading their way.

Something sure doesn’t look right and the ‘Joe’ with the Bazooka fires a round that disables the vehicle and brings it to a halt…

Several Germans exit the vehicle and two are cut down by the squad’s bullets while the rest flee into the forest.

Obviously this is just an advance guard and there must be more of the enemy not far behind.

Let’s hope there’s also a few more American reinforcements on the way!

All the best and…Enjoy!
Andy

That’s a blast from the past, still a unique tank after all this time. Robin.

Hi Robin,

Many thanks for your feedback… In our 40 year K&C story we’ve produced a fair number of unique fighting vehicles… The Stug, attempting to masquerade as a U.S. Army Tank Destroyer, was one of our most original ones.

If I remember correctly it was inspired by an illustration in an ‘Osprey’ book on The Battle of the Bulge.

As far as jeeps go I reckon K&C has produced as many or more even than our German ‘Tigers’!!!
Anyway thanks once more… your input is always welcome.

All the best,
Andy

Great setup Andy. I have the old "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" set BBA008. Your scene makes me want to get it out of storage and do a scene myself. Nice set and an "oldie goldie"
