This book was just released. It is by Steven Pressfield, the same author who did Gates of Fire. It is a novel about the LRDG in WWII and looks to be an entertaining read for those who enjoy the Desert Rats.

I heard Pressfield on Hugh Hewitt's show Friday evening, and he talked about the amount of research that went into the book. He said he knew nothing about armor and vehicles of the time, for example, but he became an expert pretty quickly. It sounds like a good read.

Pressfields other novels have been pretty good so this one is on the list to start this weekend.
