Not to much discussion going on here on my favorite site so where are all my First Legion collectors?? what have you been doing so far in this new year? I just checked the First Legion web site on the work bench and quiet there too.

Hopefully Matt has some new releases line up sometime soon, esp. for WWII:)

I'm hoping to have my Stalingrad dio home very shortly, can't wait to set it up!!!!

any of you have any dios planned for this year?

Getting back to normal here in Tucson where I live after the murders that took place a few weeks ago.

Still debating on the West Coaster?? no First Legion reps there, which I hope will change in the near future, but would be great to meet some more forum guys in the flesh.

I have been using the quiet before the storm buying some figures to build my ranks ;) i just received an order last week of some more French Line figures a couple more Prussians and two more Stalingrad Germans . I'm really looking forward to that MG :D
Yesterday was a hard time:mad: today is even worse :mad:I can't believe we lost that Game :mad: Its like someone died here in Baltimore .. Thank GOD that the second half of the Bundesliga started over the weekend :) Regards Gebhard

Sounds like you got some greeat sets in the works, I just ordered the winter German coat officer and Russian scout team.

what is the Bundesliga??

that game killed me, I truly dislike Pittsburgh in all sports...sorry pitt fans:)...Sammy

I'm also going to get the Hauptmann he is a Great looking figure although I'm still into the earlier stage of the Battle for Stalingrad .... the Russian scout team has the best looking camo paint job for Soviet figures I've seen they really nailed that one .
The Bundesliga is the professional football (soccer ) association for Germany ;)
I feel the same way about that team from PA ;) Gebhard
 
I am waiting for the Cuirassiers to be released and the pre-order for the Jaegers. Then some new stuff to which I can look forward!! New stuff!!!!

I just received the new book on the 369th Croatian Infantry Regiment last week ;) the Regiment was the only non-German unit to take part in the attack on Stalingrad the other Allies were relegated to holding the flanks ........now that would be a very interesting topic and Good German Allie for First Legion to produce if they were going to do non German units for the Stalingrad line .. Well, Matt did say this back on Jan. 9th, in a different thread:


"We are very pleased to announce the commencement of ordering of GERSTAL023 German MG34 Tripod Mounted Machine Gun Team. We aren't calling this a pre-order really as this set will be shipping to customers in about 10 days (at the same time as our current pre-orders for the AWI, Cuirassiers/Dorsenne, and GERSTAL021 Howitzer Set and GERSTAL022 Hauptmann figures"

That 10 day window is about up I think, so we shouldn't have too much longer to wait. Personally, I am looking forward to my first order of the AWI Grenadiers!:D

I'm waiting for the next release in the Medieval Crusades series. The Crusader's enemy forces are supposed to be released before the end of January. There was a preview of a great looking Saracen, holding up the flag of a dead Hospitaler Knight who is lying by his feet. That's definately one I'd like to add to my Crusades diorama. There were also a few other single Saracens previewed. Should be a few more that weren't previewed too. We've also been promised some mounted Crusaders in the very near future. They should be showing up soon.
 
Hello fellow FL collectors: I've just received an 2nd order of Crusaders....Fantastic Figures....Have also already pre-ordered the German Howitzer and the Tri-pod MG Machine gun figures ....Hoping for more long coated German figures in combat poses as well as more Winter Russians......I wonder what Matt is planning next for Stalingrad AFV's.......Could a Winter Tiger II be next or a T-34..???;) ....Time will tell
 
I have the winter Pz.III and and hauptmann on order. After that I'll start working on the sFH 18 and MG34. As for German allies, it could offer some variety to the series.

Might dab into Crusaders or AWI but waiting to find out about new ranges
With prices i have to be selective from now on

I have set up an separate account just for such things ;) If they ever do release a Blücher figure I'm planning on buying two one for display and a spare one just incase I would drop and break one :eek: I've been reading up on Prussian Landwehr and Landsturm troops;) GOD I hope they will expand on their Prussian forces ..I just bought a couple more last week they are the best Prussian figures I have ever seen :) just can't have too many .. :eek:

This waiting is positive, allows people to really buy a right set and for the company to bring well made and well develop sets...FL is QUALITY FIRST not quantity
