Some Members know the true story about the production of this big model and the number of sets produced for each version (A and B)? Maybe Andy can give some information closer to reality.
Thank you

50 of each made. DD141 A and B

There were apparently concerns from Andy on quality.

I own 2x As but have always wanted a B.

thanks to all for the informations.
Since I have the chance to take one I would like to know if the descent platform is easy to let down, as it seems to me that the rope enters the hull. Is this elastic?
cheers

It is not mate. It is on a Spring like metal tension chord which may stay down with a heavy polystone Tank placed on top but it can be very strong.
