Andy Neilson and Helen Mok of King and Country will be visting The Military Workshop, in Brisbane Australia, on Tuesday 8 JUNE 2010 to
meet collectors. This will be followed by a dinner and talk.
As they did last year K&C will be providing some free items for all attendees (including partners).
Andy will be bringing with him the painted prototypes of the next Lighthorse and Turkish figures.
The dinner/talk will be held at the ***thorne RSL about 400m from the shop. Cost is expected to be about $39 for a three course dinner (function room cost is paid by The Military Workshop). Drinks extra but at RSL prices (ie. cheap).
Early booking is important as we need to know how many K&C items to arrange and to book the food.
This is a unique chance to meet Andy Neilsen who co-founded King and Country 26 years ago. He is a former Royal Marine, ex Royal Hong Kong Police Officer, PR company owner, newspaper cartoonist, bar owner and all around nice guy.
Another bonus is that Simpson and his Donkey, OzDigger, Howard, Jackaroo and "Ned" Kelly willl be there to answer all the questions Andy does not know the answers to. We are also keeping our fingers crossed that the crazy butcher from Perth (ie. Wayne) will be coming over. Obee has extended his apologies and come up with a poor alibi that involves a trip to Gallipoli, Paris and the London Show (Rob please note !)..
