Greetings:
I have always been very fond of the World War I Albatros fighters. My late grandfather, who shared aviation with me as a child and took me to airshows, loved the Albatros fighters. I have always wanted a larger scale model of one. I was thrilled to see King and Country come out with one as well as John Jenkins Designs. I eventually chose the King and Country one as it seemed a bit more durable in construction than the JJD plane which I had to return due to problems with the wings being warped. I know there are some elements about the model that are inaccurate, but I think its a nice looking model and the size is impressive.
I first picked up the Udet version and really like it. I know its an accurate scheme. I've also picked up the Voss plane and would love to try to find a Richthofen. I decided to make a little display for the Udet plane. It can't be too big as it had to fit on my shelf. Even though I don't collect toy soldiers I did pick up some ground crew for the display.
Enjoy
