I thought that the collectors of K&C and Jenkins' Gallipoli and Middle East ranges might appreciate a side by side photographic comparison. These three pictures show two of this month's Turkish releases from K&C with two similarly posed Jenkins' figures. The K&C figures are 2nd and 4th from the left. I forgot to put an older K&C Turk in the group but the colour of those is close to the colour of the trousers of this month's K&C releases.

Jack,

Very thoughtful of you to do this my initial impression is that they will go well together.

That was my impression as well. Given the supply challenges faced by the Turks I very much doubt whether the uniforms were ever really that 'uniform'. I taught at a school with 1500 students and unless you were at a debating team meeting you were hard pushed to find two students dressed exactly the same.

I agree with the matching of sizes, and on seeing imagery of the Turks in WW1 and looking at the actual uniforms and equipment in various museums around the wold, you can see the variety used.

The only difference I can see is that the JJD rifles look more realistic, and the K&C more 'chunky'
