I have just listed these items on eBay and I can't find any info on the toysoldiersusa website...regarding the sitting officers. If someone could ID them I can add it to my item description...I think they are China Marines but can't find any info to be sure. TIA

...regarding the sitting officers...

If I may add, they're not officers, that is, they're not commissioned officers, they're non-coms, staff sergeants, to put a finer point on it. Three up, one down, on the chevrons.

Prost!
Brad

Thanks for the specifics Howard. I looked at the picture HK062 and it just didn't click, I suppose since it's a crude picture? Thank you too Brad!

These drinking sailors have a tendency to hitch rides on these Rickshaws...it's the third Rickshaw I've seen with them out boozing it up! The missing lady in the red dress that is usually seen with these might have got smart, arrested or married?

Here's a quote from the book identifying your sailor:

The first Streets of Hong Kong Figures included a Chinese Amah with chickens and Chinese mother and baby (HK1 - $28), a Chinese Hong Kong Policeman with a criminal in a caque [a type of wooden stocks] (HK2 - $28), a Rickshaw set, consisting of rickshaw, a running coolie and a the buyer’s choice of a passenger (which could be a British sailor with a bottle of booze, Suzy Wong (a lady of ill repute), a Chinese woman with bound feet, a Chinese merchant, or a European lady) (HK3 - $42), the Sedan Chair set, consisting of 2 coolies, the sedan chair and a choice from the above passengers) (HK4 - $51), a Chinese delivery man with two baskets on a pole (HK5 - $15), a standing rickshaw with a sitting coolie smoking a bamboo pipe (HK6 - $29), a coolie with cart and pig basket (HK7 - $33), and a Pedi-Cab with driver and choice of two passengers (HK8 - $55).
