Getting hooked happened to me. I was fine for years as long as I had none of them. Once I got the first set - Napoleon and his generals - the flood gates opened. {sm2}

Let's just hope that K&C doesn't stop here with this series!
Mamelukes, infantry in action and certainly more camels would be much appreciated.

Look forward to getting my figures soon.

Great new range of Napoleonics - next releases should be interesting.

Just advised mine are now in the post to me, that means 6-7 days to Australia, great. Cheers, Robin

Napoleon in Egypt series arrived and looks great.....very unique and very well sculpted. I think this series is a winner so let's see if it is expanded in the near future.:)

Hi guys,
A great serie ,surely.
But I wrote to k&K . Look at the flag:it's not a good one for this campain : an eagle on the top and we are in the Republic ! And the pattern of the flag does'nt occur
before 1802. I am fed up to see mistakes upon french soldiers.
Nevertheless I find good the figures in links to ancient Egypt: the soldier discovering the stone and the artillery man drawing. it would be interesting to see the civilian
scientists which were in the expedition.

I'm not getting the flag - mostly as the figure doesnt appeal to me. But I have ordered several of the other figures - IMO they are superb.

Looking forward to more NE releases .. including one of Pauline Bellisle Foures :)

I admire your attention to detail. I haven't collected Napoleonics till now (too many retired before I started collecting). But I really like the new NE figures including the flag bearer. I agree it would be great to release some figures that represent the over 150 "scientists" on the expedition - their published works were more lasting than the outcomes of the military campaign.

Actually the eagles appeared in 1804. I already "flagged" this error in a previous thread on this new release. Please see: http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/fo...leon-in-Egypt.&p=372928&highlight=#post372928

Say .. anybody got the new Napoleon in Egypt yet ?

Got them, beautiful figures, sorry no time to take photos, trying to earn money to pay for them. These are a must have. Cheers, Robin.

I saw them first hand in Brett's shop today. They are very nice and despite the comments about the accuracy of the flag-bearer, this figure is my favourite. I held off purchasing until I see the retirements with the next dispatches.
