Guys,

Saturday 21st July:

After breakfast at Hogan's Bakery by the open log fire the Bus move off to the big smoke to visit Hyland's Military Book Store. In Andy's opinion, the best Book Store in Australia. Sorry no photos of Hylands as my camera flash was still on the blink.
Left Hylands about Noon and headed back to Wallan for the Meet'N'Greet afternoon, followed by Happy Hour and the Dinner. On display during the afternoon were displays from:

(1) Modeller's Warehouse (Dave & Bob) down from Queensland. Diorama Accessories.
(2) Battle Art (Ian) Backdrops and fine Military prints.
(3) Geelong Re-Enactors (Gino & Tyler) Vietnam War Weapons used by the Aussies.

A few of our collectors also arrived in period costumes. An outstanding effort. Whilst Suzanne O'Brien sang songs from Vern Lynne during the afternoon.

After Dinner we had two guest speakers. Phil Dressing the General Manager of the Vietnam Veterans Museum followed by young Andy Neilson and a Q&A session

Once again any of the collectors who attended please attach your photos.

Cheers Howard

Outstanding, only drama was you didn't have enough quality banana benders present! :rolleyes2: Only two! Well I intend to remedy that with my attendance next year, one K&C event a year is not enough..:wink2:

Day 2 was a visit into Melbourne to a Military Bookshop, the back to Wallan to set up for the afternoon and the evening dinner....

Great pictures and thanks for sharing with us some of what these 3 great days in Melbourne were like!
What can you share with us about Andy's Q&A session; what's in the pipeline?

Great pics John,
Thanks for sharing....
Checking the Vietnam pic I guess I won Andy on the mistery question/challange he posted a while ago as to who would guess what type of artillery he would be supplying the series with...At the time I said the little M50 ONTOS and here it is......:salute:::salute:::salute::Great guessing for a guy that loves Victorian and WW1 Artillery...{sm4}{sm4}{sm4}
Cheers
