Thanks Randy !!! another great set from your toybox. I love the hollowcast Britians, they are simple, naive and just have a charm about them that even the most detailed figures on the market today can't come close to.
 
Thats a great set! I really enjoy how they painted them, some good detail in the uniforms and then glob on some white and a dot of black for the eyes. Very quaint indeed!

IMHO, I think that Bill Hocker's figures capture the old Britains look very well. ;)

I get what you are saying (and the Hocker figures are beautiful and very reasonably priced) but these type of figures have history, they are old and were (for the most part) played with. I often wonder where they were before I got them, who played with them and what adventures they got up to. If only they could talk, the tales they could tell. :D
