Hey guys-

Here is a dio I setup today with a little help:

A "birds eye view"- funny thing about messing with toysoldiers you haven't messed with in awhile- I pulled the ME109 Pilot out and his arm was missing!! Fortunately, I had it stored in another box.

The grizzled NCO provides weapons familiarization to the grunts- as usual, an officer (Hauptman) decides he would add his two cents....

The ME109 has left to cause havoc- the Panther pulls in for resupply and repair. The TC's discuss the status of the latest offensive:

Looking to add some more firepower to the offensive, the Panther leaves and the TIGER comes in for repair:

Is it my eyes, or are the civilian children 1:1 scale :p

The joy of getting out the soldiers for the kids. My son and I had a jumbo Marx Man rubber band war the other day before he went to school. My brave warriors stayed in the open, his hid behind boxes and chair legs. Good thing I'm a crack rubber band shot!

Thank you Peter:

Here are some better shots of the NCO with the MG34- I really don't think it came out as well as I wanted it- that MG34 was a bear to pose given the ammo mag unbalancing it.

Ja Hans, keep backing it up...hard left...it will fit, I tell you! :D

Great to see your lad playing as well Chris. Not thought of the hedgerow set being used as an airbase before.
Where's the house from?

Simon

Hey Simon-

the house is from Conte Terrain Shop- it came with all the hedgerow stuff as well. I felt it fit pretty well as worked as a small maintenance shed at 1:18th scale rather than a full blown barn at 1:32nd scale. To put it in perspective- that barn can house the 1:18 Kubelwagon and the 1:30 HB Jagdpanther.

The other barn is the 21st Century Normandy farmhouse 1:18th scale. To put in perspective- I paid $13 for the set at Toys R Us here in the States.

I was a bit limited on space especially seeing how these are 1:18th scale figs. The hedgerow area was envisioned to be a "pitstop" for the ME109- it would be cool to put a small, dirt runway next to it- perhaps on a bigger table.

CC nice little setup, the little guys seems to enjoy. A Toy Soldierer at heart, runs in the family I guess.:)
