For you WW1 guys, I picked up 2 German riflemen, in great coats from this company, on ebay. They were nicely done and I was wondering if any of you have some of their pieces. I had not heard of them before. They are done in the glossy toy soldier style similar to Camp Randall. Michael

I have a Camp Randall Tank FT17 which I like. Like you I've never heard of Klein Corps Toy Soldiers. I am still looking for good looking 54 or 60 MM Armored Cars used during the time period 1912 to 1939.
I do have some info that you like. Give me a call.

Hi Chuck,

If you can find them Charles Biggs does some nice WWI equipment and the best stuff I have seen is from a company called Heco Tin Plate Models. If you find any of them out there they are really well made and from what I have seen they are a notch or two above the folks from Camp Randall. Take Care

Dave

Heco is wonderful stuff and don't forget Toy Army Workshop.

I am also looking for Armored Cars that I can afford. Last week on ebay, Toy Army went for $161.00 and overseas shipping and another from mfg. unknown went for $290.00. I may have to settle for some of the resin kits that I have seen. Some paint and a lot of gloss, no one will know it is not tin....I really would like to stay away from a plastic kit.....Michael

Hi All,

I do a search on ebay from time to time to see if there are any Heco Tinplate Models out there for sale and lo and behold today there is one! Its a WWI French Bleriot mono plane that was going for 100 US for the moment and is a steal at that price. I went to the toys section and searched for heco and it popped right up so if there are any of you out there looking for a WWI French Plane to terrorize the trenches with its there for the taking. ebay number 290019695647 about 23 hours left

$162 at moment. What might the worth be for this model? Michael

Hi Guys,

The best price guide I have is a Cataloge from a few years ago from the UK that put them at 135-145 Pounds Sterling which is about 300 bucks with their shipping costs added in. So this is still a good deal.

Dave

PS its up to 200 right now
