It must be coming up to the anniversary of the release of KnC's D-Day Sherman and I wonder what the coming months might bring.
I know the vehicle was somewhat controversial when released, but I am very satisfied with mine and I hope it will not prove to be a one-off. It was very nice to be able to buy a tank at under £100.00 (compare with the new Renault carrier at £129.95), so I hope others will follow - my personal preference would be for a StuG III (Normandy).
However, I was intrigued reading an account of the Singapore K & C event some weeks ago when a new "Wehrmacht" range was mentioned. As the WSS series seems perfectly able to accomodate both late war Heer and Waffen SS and early war "Grey" Germans, I wondered why a new range was necessary. Perhaps if it is the intention to issue this new series in plastic, hence the new title. Perhaps the forthcoming OTSN show in Chicago may provide some more information.
