One of JJ goals with the planes was to make them light enough to hang. Photo below is such a "hanging" off a vendor table at MFCA last weekend.......not quite sure that is the best technique, but certainly shows they are light enough and strong enough to withstand.

The other photo was an entry by Dave Maddox of England, that I found very creative and thought you might enjoy. It is a photographer (in color) taking a shot of The Red Baron and Voss. They being in black and white, exactly as the photographer would be seeing them through the viewfinder. I love seeing how imaginative a display can be. And such a worthy subject no less.

Dave's piece was fantastic, from its conception, to how he achieved the black and white effect on von Richtofen and Voss. He scratchbuilt the section of the Albatros that serves as their backdrop. The piece was actually dropped {eek3} when it was being photographed, but fortunately not from any great height, merely on the table, and damage was minor. Dave was laconic in his reply: "At least it wasn't the judges". He won a gold for it.

Prost!
