Interesting figures, one issue ..the rifles look like Mk1 303 which were not used by the A.I.F in the Great War, should be the S.M.L.E. (Short - Magazine Lee-Enfield) rifle which equipped the A.I.F during both World Wars.

Not sure about the Battalion flash on the sleeve, looks like its got a light coloured surround, but that was used in WW2.

Maybe we shall see more with better images?

Quite right John, does appear to be red over blue as well, don't think there was any Battalion in the 2nd Division with such a patch or is it purple? the 27th?. I stand to be corrected of course.

Well that's what the middle figure has, but not sure about the red patch?
