I’ve just received this week’s newsletter from Treefrog and I’m struck with the feeling of how lucky we are to have Treefrog for the weekly newsletters and our daily addiction known as the “Treefrog Forum”.

She and the rest of her Team seem to be working tirelessly in keeping her website and newsletters interesting, relevant and fresh. The Forum is awesome and is virtually kept free of unwanted (SPAMERS and Hijackers) intruders. BTW, it takes more than effort to sustain this effort, obviously it takes money. I’m sorry if this sounds like a lecture it’s not my attention.

I dedicate a % of my monthly toy soldier’s budget to them to show my appreciation despite me having excellent relationships with two existing dealers. If you agree with me, and haven’t already done so already, may I suggest rewarding there fine work and the enjoyment they bring to all of us by dedicating a portion of your budget to them too?

Either way, happy collecting and best of wished to Treefrog,

Carlos

Oh yeah,

I hear all of the time about how manufacturers or dealers advertising to attract new collectors to the hoppy and of course make more money.

It appears that only Shannon and Treefrong is willing to put up real $$$$ to promote the hobby.

Keep up the great work,

Carlos

K&C UK Spend Thousands on the Toy Soldier Show London promoting it and making sure there is fresh people coming in all the time.

And we spend Thousands on advertising and promotion in a lot of material. We are next month on the front cover of BBC History magazine. With the K&C Napoleonics.

Sooooooo there is at least one other dealer spending a lot of bucks on Toy Soldier Promotion!:)

Hear! Hear! I agree, and in this spirit, please consider this post a pre-order for one of the solid green Normandy Shermans from Honour Bound.

Oh, and Tony is quite correct. No dealer I know has done more to promote the hobby than the Nevilles. They, the Reuss's with this forum as well as the new TV commercial, Matt Murphy from the Hobby Bunker and George Guerriero from Minutemen with their great work at shows, and Bill Sager with his excellent website have all done their part, as have many other fine dealers.

Thank you Peter and Shannon! I the Kilted one have thuroughlt enjoyed my time here. My other favorite hobby toy trains has somewhat waned as I progress in this hobby. It is a smaller one to be sure but more friendly I thibk. Thibk is an old vampyre word for think.

I to want to thank Tree frog and it's fine hosts Peter and Shannon. Though I am a mere plastic collector, they give people like myself and others a chance to share our interests. Long live the Tree frog, and I pray their business prospers.Mike:)
