Hi! Merry Christmas! Are the soldiers "removable" from the LAH KRUPPS TRUCK?
Thanks

I believe they are glued in place. On the other hand, with a few tools say maybe an air hammer you can remove anything........

daruss,
I removed mine and repainted to go with Afrika Korps.

I just got the Krupp Truck for Christmas, it'll go great in my parade scene. I like your AK repaint as well.

Nice repaint Rick! I love seeing what other forum members are doing with modifications and repaints. Great source of inspiration.

Very nice job,the figures fit in very nicely with it:cool:

Nice job on the Krupp truck Rick! Did you do that in Iraq, or have they sent you back home?

Hello Louis,

I'm back now. I actually painted the Krupps Truck before I left for Iraq. I didn't have a single day off the entire time I was in Iraq so no time for any projects while I was there.

It's great to be back in the USA. We don't realize how good we have it.

Glad to hear you made it home safe in time for Christmas! So when can I expect a visit at the museum?:D

The first chance I get I want to see the museum. Really looking forward to it. I'm stationed with Marine Central Command in Florida now.

Welcome home Rick! Nice job! I should hire you to do my repaints! And believe me, that paint job does the vehicle justice than the parade version! Because remember, MP40's were not around in 1936 for the parades!!! Also, i don't remember seeing pictures black shirt SS parade in Krupps trucks! Saw plently of pics of Wehrmacht parade in those trucks, but not early SS! It would be ideal for K&C to release another version of that truck for Wehrmacht battle field, or circa 194-41 parades! Even better to release it for the 1938 annexation of Austria!

Excellent looking repaint. Wish I had the ability to do those-or the gumption to learn.

Welcome back Rick. That is a great idea for a repaint and you did an awesome job on it I really like the worn look to it.

Hmmn..... repaint, oh, should I? I bought my truck damaged so the figures were out of it already. Then there were the broken pieces. But it is a great truck! Nice work Rick! Hope to see more.
