Hi Brian,

i was mightily impressed by the whole LAH Review diorama set, and once i gauge shipping charges (hopefully affordable), i will get most of the line.

seeing this line, i was thinking, would you revise the original LAH line? :)

i remember being interested but was put off by the 1/28 scale, and the pale complexion.

but now that these were fixed, i would really hope you create a 2nd review set - LAH reviewed by the Fuhrer himself in front of the new Reichkanzlerei.:D

another thing, does the Reichkanzlerei Building Diorama has another building facade to complement it? i wanted to have the Hitlerjugend march in front of it (just like your pic) but found the Reichkanzlerei Building itself to small for a parade.

pic 1 - where is the guy on the trumpet standing?

the Reichkanzlerei Building (pic 2) is too short for your portrayed diorama (which i intend to somewhat copy)

pls help.

sincerely,

nasir kasmani

We did only 300 of the building and they sold out in about 6 months. I can't even find one for myself!:) The trumpeter is standing on one of the stairs in front of one of the pillars. Currently there are no plans to release it again.

Best regards ,

Brian

Hello Brian,

Did you have any intention in a close future, to develop more HJ? Ex: bicycling with Panzer-Faust, or help load an 88mm for Berlin 1945.

Rod.

It looks like the background showing the portal of the Reichskanzlei is actually two images blended together, since there are more than two fluted columns in the background. It looks like the Pimpf with the horn is standing on the step in front of one of the columns.

If I remember correctly, in the 1:1 scale Treppe on the front of the building, there were actually small pedestals of the same marble or other stone as the rest of the steps, one in front of each column, for the Wachposten to stand on. These pedestals or bases were at least half the height of the steps. So, the guards stood elevated above anyone else who may have stood on the same step.

Prost!
Bradley
