Here's a prototype of the new flag bearer for Plains of Abraham Languedoc regiment...

the marching set of Frenchies will look good following this guy either at Carillion or Quebec...

This looks good and holds promise. Always up for French standard bearers. Lanquedoc had red and purple squares with the white cross. Should be colorful. -- Al

Very nice! We certainly have had a flag imbalance with all the Brit flags. I wonder if John will do the all white flag?

DOUG...
I hope he makes white flag with Fleur de Lis so I can put it ON
wall of my Abattis, keep up the good work J.J.

Wondering if I could paint and mould this great piece to resemble a Sudan Gordon, I am desperate for a British flag in that series. Cheers, Robin.

Mike,

thanks for the image of the new fag bearer. I love flags and 7 years War, so this IS a must.

Hi guys
I'm at a high level interested in french flags (as far as I am concerned ,Brits would say) but why on earth are you finding this Languedoc Flag beautifuL . Why are the
french flag bearers look like so lazzy ? I understand that it could fit for a summer march but the la sarre was too on the shoulder . I prefer a standing position as John made the british flags. Don't forget that at Carillon, except for the shooters the infantry was awaiting away bebind the wall , flags waving . In this fashion, the frontline French flags look more accurate. I don't see the interest of representing
a march approach. (sorry for my english level)

Very detailed reference site to Seven Years War including North America.

The "Battle Tab" is very interesting as the Battles are listed in chronological order. Sieges are a separate tab. And Campaigns are a separate tab. As such, informnation about for the Battle of Ticonderoga is in two places, under Battle and under Campaigns.

Languedoc flag is at bottom of the regimental history. Violet and Reddish Brown Squares.

Good points actually .. got to agree with lamiral. We already have a marching French flag bearer. This is almost similar.
