Largest Empress Dragoon Regiment (1 Viewer)

Well with the Dragoons riding quickly into the sunset I thought it would be fun who has the largest Empress Dragoon Regiment. Also how many of these great soldiers does it take to have a regiment?

I will start the ball rolling by proudly telling everyone that I have two Dragoons as of right now. In my defense I do have three more on the way which will leave me with five. Quake in fear all you British squares.

I know five is a lot but I am quite confident that somebody has a larger regiment. So lets hear the thunder of hooves and I look forward finding out who has the most.

200 makes a squadron. 5 squadrons makes a regiment I think

Well yes you are correct. I was wondering in the scale of K&C how many Dragoons does it take to make a regiment?

Hello Old Guard,

I Have about 20: 16 of the Empress and 4 of the Limited Edition 4th Dragoons. Not many when you are talking 200 in a sqaudron, but ironically the action poses prevented me from colecting any more. I believe they needed more standard line formation poses (eg. one good charging one that would look good in mutiples and one standing - cavalry spent a lot of time standing waiting for orders!)

although the dragoons are nicely done, they have historical flaws...

the green uniform is too light in color

the officer's saddle should have 3 strips instead of 2 along it's margins

anyone reckon?

THUNDERING HOOFS INDEED !

I have 21 Garde Imperiale - Dragons de l'Imperatice !!

They are attacking a Black Watch Square - in my curio cabinet in my office. I also have the 5 of the Special Edition Figures - A complete set - plus one more Flag Horseman.

I am pick up a couple more for the collection for extras - once something like this retires - it will disappear forever.
