Let me first say I DO collect some plastics even as we speak, and prior to 2002, plastics of every brand was all I collected.
But one thing I have learned through out the years are that SOME, not all, plastic collectors are some of the cheapest people in the toy soldier hobby.
I recently sold a set of 8 or so plastic figures on ebay for .99 cents with the listed postage as $5.85. I sent the winner his soldiers and he replied he received the figures and they were fine but he wanted a refund on the difference of the actual postage $2.20 and the listed postage of $5.85. Now to my way of thinking that is one cheap b(fill in the blanks).
I have had other similar experiances along those lines. Again just my humble opinion.
Oh and relative to the refund, I told him no!

You know...
the box, tape, packing material, time and gas cost more than the difference...
we got long lines at my postoffice...usually...sometimes I stand in line for 15-20 minutes...
he knew what you were charging for postage...you listed $5.85...
it's all part of the deal...
I list all sales outside the lower 48 states as $20.00 "flat rate"...
they usually cost around $16.00...sometimes a little more or less...
I don't feel like I'm cheating anybody...
I'm paying $2.60 a gallon for gas...
bubble wrap is expensive...
peanuts are expensive...
I can get the "perfect small" box at the Dollar Store for 50 cents...
If it takes me an hour to print a label...
box/pack/wrap a set...
drive it to the post office and back...
counting the cost of supplies...
gasoline...
time...even if you paid yourself "3rd world minimum wage" for your time
I can sleep at night with a clear conscience that I treated my customer fair...
you advertised $5.85...
you charged $5.85...
he's got nothing to complain about...
