A wide variety of Wehrmacht, Waffen SS, Volksturm and Hitler Youth dug in their heels to defend Berlin from the Soviet assault.......

The German defense was fanatical but pointless as the Russians pressed home the attack and slowly wore down the Germans..........

Great set up George! Looks like you,ve had a bit of free time to relax and have a bit of fun.

Warrior'
Great little set-up you have! It is nice to see the Soviet/German side of the War, and you got with the last-ditch boys. Keep it up! Mike

Fish, great to hear from you, hows the new house, ready to fill it with more soldiers? Thanks Mike, where in Jersey are you located, I do quite a few shows in your home state, or "republic" as you put it. Louis, thanks as always.

This is just a small sampler of a much, much larger Berlin diorama I am planning for the near future............

Warrior,
I'm set up right outside Newton, the Sussex County seat, down from the barn and just past the horse pasture. Mike

Marvellous scene with the sandbagged tram, like the view of the destroyed buildings with the floorboards going across

Beauty dio, i really like the tramway display, it reflects the real deal atmosphere when comes to defend the city in April 1945.

Good job George.

Rod.

Thanks Rod and RedHugh; imagine if Andy made this exact scene in 60mm; three buildings and the tram barricade and then came out with more Berlin sets. I can't believe they would not sell, maybe I am missing something................

Really nicely done; I like the atmosphere of the street combat that you have captured.

Thanks Spitfrnd; I'm planning a much bigger Berlin diorama, just wanted to see how these newest additions to my collection look all set up, I like they way the pieces all fit together to form a scene............

I got them from a company in England called Kerr and King, they make 15mm and 20mm buildings and accessories..........
