Have a look at John's web site he has updated it.

No new releases shown. :(

But the following sets are now sold out: :(

BA-01 (That was quick)

BM-10 (Did not even last to release date)

BM-05 (Was due to go)

Blockhouse (Very quick again)

Next sets to go sold out ????

Wow! BM10 already sold out...I guess those 44th Grenadiers are a popular line. I'm guessing there will be more.

I'm also wondering what might be in the works for POA. I haven't collected any of these yet (except the Death of Wolfe set), but as I am a sucker for a nice line up of "Redcoats" in action, this series may yet draw me in if future additions materialize.

Congratulations John!

Jenkins is getting so popular that he is going to have to raise the number of sets for each unit he makes or people will get tired of not being able to get them. Now they are starting to sell out before they are released.I think people will collect something else if they start missing out on sets, which will hurt Jenkins in the long run.I think maybe 400-500 should be made. That is still a very small number which makes them rare. Not everyone can order them as soon as they are put out for preorder. What is everyone else's opinion on this.

I suspect you may be right on track, and wouldn't be surprised if, say, 500 becomes the new 250-350.

John told me to pre-order SRR-03 the same day it was announced since he believed it and BM-10 would sell out very quickly. I would agree that 500 should be the new minimum since the Jenkins collector base appears to be growing by leaps and bounds. I know that the 350 sets of the BOS Christmas issue went very quickly too. Fortunately for BOS collectors there are still SRR-03 available from dealers.

I would rather see limited sets for collectability purposes. Not that all sets need to be 250-350 but a few here and there is nice. As I am a collector who likes to have things others dont. So I like some limited sets. Again not all sets need to be limited.

I think the limited numbers encourage people to decide and act fast. If the numbers are increased they probably don't sell as quickly or in greater numbers. Most of the 500 sets are still available.

I like to see limited amounts also.I don't want to see them run into thousands of sets but I think there should be enough for all the true FIW Jenkins collectors.I started to collect Jenkins at the end of October 2007 and I think I started just in time.If I discovered Jenkins now I don't think I would even start seeing how many sets are no longer available. Most people on this forum seem to be K&C WWII collectors.Could you imagine how many of them would quit collecting WWII if the had to scramble around for all the sets.

Maybe but Maybe not I get into JJD late and have scrambled around and paid dealrly to get retired sets I just think it makes the chase more fun I did not quit collecting because many of the sets were gone it just made me want them more. Just a different point of view. I think we both can agree we just want him to keep making MORE!

Yes it is going to be a fine balancing act for John in the next 6 months.

Increase sets to 500 to 750 and see sales slow (then again sold out in less than a week is a bit quick) or leave them or some at 300 to 350 maybe the go.

You will all be unhappy to hear the Sierra is out of BM-10's and Treefrog is out of both BM10's & SRR-03's.

If you have not got a SRR-03 yet, I would be very quick about it.

On the BM10's it maybe already to late. :(

That was even to quick for me. :(

Maybe he should try 400-425 sets.

Mark,

Maybe 400 - 425.

But 500 looks to be the standard John has set on the other sets.

I would say the next sets to go sold out / retired will be some of the Snowshoe sets or the VM's and QHL's.

All very nice figures which I assume are also selling well.

I think 400+ would be about right, for now anyway. If you notice anything 500 and over is still available.
