Ana Donzino has announced a new glossy company from Argentina to be carried by Treefrog:

"Sweet Moments is a new line made by Laura Cuello miniatures. Laura is our Master Painter for Honour Bound, a member of Southland Miniatures, and our niece. All civilians, the first scene she is representing is The Beach 1900, and she already has a bunch of characters released for the first group.

Her website http://www.lauracuello.com.ar/ is under construction now. It will be online in 3/4 weeks (Laura Cuello Miniatures). Again, Treefrog Treasures already have them in stock so you can order through them any time."

I think collectors of the civilian lines made by Imperial, ATS, Tradition, Wm. Hocker, and Britain's Petticoats will find this of interest.

Laura Cuello Miniatures are up and available on the Treefrog website now (click the title to view them) and most are going to be available this coming week. The figures are already here, we just need to receive them into the inventory.
Looking forward to people's feedback on these. :)

Regards,

Picked up the base in Chicago, too ....

A great scene --my favorite era too! Will they work as Brits of the Raj?

Randy, you are on to something big. My teutonic lack of imagination did not allow me to have this thought. The same sculptor, just a different painter (maybe not?). The base seems to be a problem, though. It causes a different height in the figures.

All very nice Andanna and I am sure Randy will come up with a way to fix the height difference ;)

Although to my eye no that much difference, the main thing to me is the square sand bases casue a distraction

I think they look fine together. If you photograph them in a dio with ground cover, of course, the bases vanish and like Scott says the height difference is not that big. You could raise up the LC figures with some green felt on the bottoms. You can get green felt with a sticky back side at the craft stores. Cut to fit the bottoms and build up several layers.

This lovely series reminds of the Town and Around series by Imperial... Great stuff!

More new additions to the range

Love the ladies with the Afghans
