Since we are on this nostalgic trip, I remember seeing some large scale models in that shop. The famous landsknecht and spme really large Roman legionary and an Indian warrior (1/6?). (I haven't located the pic of the Roman).
These were featured on the cover of Mil Mod and they were by Dave Whitbread. I also post some other large scale figures, presumably by the same talented guy. These pics were taken from my hoard of culled magazine articles.
