My son sent me a Lego custom (Brickmania.com) WWII kit of a Willys Jeep & Trailer which I just finished assembling. So here it is with a W. Britain figure.

Randy,

That is a great set by Lego.

The WB figure goes very nicely with set.

Thanks for posting, Raymond.:)

Hi Randy.

After reading your post, I started remembering building lego tanks and having my Airfix soldiers riding on them as a kid!. Oh happy days!:D

Great stuff.

Hi Mark,

It is nice to sometimes take a nostalgic walk down memory lane and reminisce of early experiences long past and gone.

Cheers, Raymond.:)

That's brilliant! I didn't know that you could get khaki coloured blocks....

All the 'stuff' I have in storage is the Castle Lego, and you can sure make up some great medieval buildings, equipment and soldiers from that era.

I was awfully tempted to get some fo the pirate Lego way back, but at that stage we didn't have kids.... along cmane the girls, so all they wnated to do with the Leg was 'play house'...

Oh well when the grand kids come along....... it will keep them entertained and away from my metal figures (I hope) :)

I got LEGOS for my son years back but found I enjoyed them much more. They are put away now but at one time I was building a Union and Confederate army around the western series. I could do the Battle of New Orleans 1815 with all the Red "Guard" soldiers.
