This afternoon I heard a professor from Cambridge University who is an expert on Libya say that after WWII Libya's major export was scrap metal since so much of it was left on the battlefields by the DAK, 8th Army and U.S. forces. This was,of course, replaced by oil. Just think that 1950s Ford or Chevy might at one time have been one of Rommel's, Monty's or Patton's tanks:)

In a couple of months they will return the same activity, export the scrap metal again..

scrap pnzr 4s are a bit more interesting then a daily dime increase due to libyas "oil",as the speculators and talking financial heads say,,there is no longer supply and demand only market and cost..No wonder the steel in the old cars seemed so stout.
