Life Guards with Gold color cuirasses is this a repaint or what Britains set (1 Viewer)

Another group out of the collection I am going through. I think these are Britains lifeguards, but I can't find a set that has the gold helmets and gold cuirasses. Is this a proper Britains set or a repaint by original owner. Hope everyone had a good holiday and we a get the vaccine soon. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Looks like you have a repainted set of figures.

According to Andrew Rose's book, they are lifeguards so should have a silver cuirass and helmet and a black sheepskin on the saddle, not white.
The officer was also used as a dragoon and dragoon guard as well as a lifeguard.

Thanks for the information. That is what I thought, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Although in real life the sheepskin should be white for Lifeguards. Looking at the pictures they may have been painted many, many years ago.
