In reading the Forum, I have learned that K&C sculpts (and or makes) the figures for Del Prado. Interestingly enough, Del Prado has lines of Egyptians, Medevil Knights, Naps, World War I and II, and are introducing American Civil War to be followed by a line of American West figures. Did my lightbulb just turn on or is it a well known fact that K&C introduces lines that coincide with what they are doing with Del Prado? The timing on the American Civil War lines does not seem to be a coincidence and I am ever hopeful for a renewed CUSTER / American West Line from K&C. K&C figures are higher quality (paint and detail) and are aimed at a different market than Del Prado, so the two apparently can coexist with each other.
