There will be a show this weekend at the Freeport Rec Center, Freeport New York hosted by the Long Island Historical Miniatures Collectors Society, show hours are Friday the 18th from 6:00pm till 9:00pm and Saturday the 19th from 9:00am till 4:30pm.

There will be toy soldiers as well as model kits, figure castings, modeling supplies and books, vendors include The Hobby Bunker, Warstore Collectibles, Alsand Merchandising, Mike and Dan Jones, the Marxman, Aeroart, the Quartermaster and myself, Minutemen Toy Soldiers.

I hope to see some of the forum members there.................this is my last show of the year, then it's time to prepare for the holiday shopping season............

I'll be there, George! I was thinking the same thing--there are several forum members who are within a relatively short drive, so I hope folks will make it up. The Long Island club stages a very good exhibition, too.

Great news, I look forward to seeing you there and yes, I dropped the ball and failed to mention the exhibit area, which is a nice take and an added feature at all the club shows..................

Unfortunately, I'm not going to make it, after all. I've got a job tomorrow that I can't put off. But I encourage everyone who can, to get up there. Enjoy the show!
